We’ve just released two new fields that allow users to identify the ‘Contract Type’ and the ‘Delivery Location’ of a project. These new fields are available both in the reference project interface, as well as the project experiences interface within an individual’s resume / CV. Not only will these fields help you to keep better tabs on your projects, but they also help to make these projects more searchable within your platform.
Contract type
This field helps teams to identify the type of contract that has been agreed for the project. This might include the contract model, such as whether it is a one-off project or part of a retainer, the type of pricing, such as whether it is a ‘fixed-fee’ structure or a ‘cost-plus’ model, or any other contract type that you use to distinguish projects. This is a masterdata controlled field, meaning both official contract types and rules can be created in masterdata for consistency.
Contract type are for some industries and languages also known as "entreprenadform (SE)" or "entrepriseform (NO)".
Delivery location
This field is already in the reference projects interface and it has now been added to the project experiences section of the resume / CV interface. This will give individuals the opportunity to showcase their experiences within specific locations.
Note that when a project is pushed to a resume / CV, fields such as the delivery location and contract type will automatically be populated within the resume / CV.
How to access
These new fields will need to be enabled before use. To do this, navigate to ‘Account Settings’ > ‘Customize CV Partner’ > ‘Customize Fields’.
Note: If you have already created custom tags that replicate ‘Contract Type’ or ‘Delivery Location’ and you want to migrate this data to a field, we can help in this process. Please contact your customer success representative for more information.
Need more custom fields?
Our team endeavours to update the default fields whenever we hear repeated feedback that a key option is missing. However, if your firm needs a specific field that might not be on our roadmap, we do offer the possibility to purchase a batch of ‘custom fields’. If you would like to learn more about this, feel free to contact us on the chat in the lower right corner.
