We have introduced additional access permissions to our Limited User role.
To remind customers what Limited Users are: they are users who can only search across resumes (CVs), without being able to view, edit, or download resumes (CVs)- other than their own.
However, with this update, they can now be added as Country, Department and Reference Project managers, which gives them more flexible access. What this means is outlined below:
- Country Managers - they can now view, edit, and download resumes from users in their own country.
- Department Managers - they can now view, edit, and download resumes from users in their own department and/or managed custom tag.
- Reference Project Managers - they can now view, edit and create reference projects.
If a UK-based Limited User has been added as a Country Manager, they can now view, edit, and download resumes from users in the UK. For all other countries, they will be able to search across resume data, but will not be able to view, edit or download those resumes.
To enable additional Limited User roles for an existing user, simply navigate to:
Account settings > Users ; hover over the user you would like to change, and click ‘Edit user’.
You will now see the option to add these additional roles:
